SUMMARY:April 2019 Club Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our next club gathering is scheduled for Saturday April 13th at 10 AM.  We are meeting at the Medina Swarm training facility which is actually located in Wadsworth\, not Medina.  The address is 257 Main St\, (south of the center of town)\, but the entrance is in the rear of the building\, off Pine Street.  We went here once before about 18 months ago.  This is definitely a meeting where we encourage you to bring the dogs.  The trainers there are going to offer an introduction to agility\, tricks for dogs\, and review the requirements for a Canine Good Citizenship title.  There will also be qualified testing that morning for that title\, plus the AKC Trick Dog title should any of us be lucky enough to have a dog willing to do it.  Light refreshments will be offered.  If you don’t think your westie will enjoy the activities\, please come anyway to enjoy the company and support the dogs who DO come.  Visitors are very welcome\, so do tell anyone you know who has a westie. \nAlso\, mark your calendars for this summer’s activities\, an evening picnic June 21st\, an afternoon picnic September 22nd\, and the Canfield show August 1st through 4th.

SUMMARY:October 2018 Meeting - Medina Swarm **EVENT CANCELLED**
DESCRIPTION:**SORRY\, WE REGRET HAVING TO CANCEL THIS EVENT** \nOn Saturday October 27th we are returning to Wadsworth to the Medina Swarm facility at 10AM to enjoy their agility equipment.  The owner last year gave us a brief tour and let the dogs try anything they wanted to do.  Some were naturals on the jumps and high walkways.  Some like the A frame which must seem very tall to a westie.  Most of the dogs just enjoyed being out of the house and socializing.  Bring your dog out before winter keeps us all home. \nThe Agility Club located at 257 Main St.\, Wadsworth\, Ohio 44281.  They will have some agility items\, carting\, and rally stuff for the Westies to do. Pop and water is provided at no charge\, although donations are encouraged. members and guests may also bring their own snacks. SUMMARY:September 2018 Club Meeting and Picnic
DESCRIPTION:We are having a second picnic this year\, on Sunday September 16th in the afternoon (Start time is 1:00pm).  Again\, it will be at Wingfoot Lake State Park\, at the Oak Tree shelter\, just inside the main entrance to the park.  Actual address for your GPS is 993 Goodyear Park Blvd\, Mogadore\, OH 44260.  As you turn onto this street it appears to be a normal neighborhood\, but soon the park is evident. \nWe have a very nice shelter reserved for us for the entire day if you wish to get there early\, but we’re planning on arrival around one\, then probably eating before two.   Hot dogs will be furnished by the club and we ask that everyone bring their own beverage and place setting\, plus a covered dish or dessert to share. \nYour westie is invited too of course.  How often do they get an outing like this?  This is not limited to club members.  Please invite other westie owners you know.

SUMMARY:August 2015 Club Meeting at the Canfield Fairgrounds
DESCRIPTION:Our August club meeting usually takes place at the Canfield Fairgrounds. This year it will be on August 1st after lunch at the Canfield dog show at the Canfield Fair Grounds. \nOur annual Speciaty Show and Meeting at Canfield Fairgrounds in the Government Building is this coming weekend.  Thursday’s show is at 9:45AM and Friday’s show is at 10:30AM.  Saturday the Sweepstakes begin at 11:45AM followed by the Regular Classes at 12:30PM\, after which we will have our Luncheon and then our Annual meeting.  Sunday the Sweepstakes is at 9:00AM and the Regular Classes are at 9:45AM followed by a sack lunch.
