Tucker
Tucker has been judged to be young, 5 years old perhaps. The shelter started his treatment, but our club took over the treatments financially. Thank you to Marsha Snider who, along with help from her three Westies, did most of the care.
Tucker had major ear infections, eye infections, a bladder infection, and a heart murmur. But the biggest issue was his skin. The two vets who examined him believe it was a combination of malassezia and urine scalding.
He’s been on a lot of medications for a while plus medicated baths. His diet also needed to be changed to a high quality diet. After a lot of loving care and cuddles his recovery went well.
His hair has grown in and he is fitting in well with the pack. He is a BIG boy! Tucker was neutered and micro chipped and had a dental cleaning. He is learning how to play with toys and he is starting to ask when he needs to go out. He is as sweet as can be. Tucker still gets baths 2x a week and is still on expensive human medicine. His ears are no longer infected but he still gets them cleaned at bath time.
Thanks to WHWTCNO for their financial support!
