Missy

On January 17, 2008 we came into possession of Missy and her three pups through the county humane officer.  Missy had been abandoned when her family moved without her and left in a vacant house with a bowl of water and a bowl of cat food.  Found ten days later, she was exhausted, thin, and filthy.  The puppies weren't much better.

All Missy's vaccinations were given after she had been tested for heartworm.  Negative, thank goodness.  She did have worms, which were easily treated. After a few weeks of loving care and good nutrition Missy was healthy enough to be spayed.  The following week she found her new home with two other websites, Zack and Zoe.  Missy has changed her name to Izzy to blend in with the Z theme.
