Ariel was left at a NE Ohio shelter at the end of January.  Her family stated they could not afford to treat the yeast infection which had caused her to lose 95% of her fur.  The shelter gave her Malaseb baths and one course of antibiotics.  They called me after three weeks to come and visit and I was struck by her wonderful personality.  When I took her home with me the shelter workers cried to see her leave.  This dog is a real sweetheart.  Her foster home adopted her within days of meeting her, and added Princess to her original name.  She has had a few diet and medication changes and seems to be thriving now.
