Next Meeting – August 2011

Our next club meeting coincides with our show in August. Please join us on Saturday, August 6th at 6:00pm.

Show location: Canfield Fairgrounds, Route 46, Canfield, OH 44406.

Westies are in the Government Building, in front of the grandstand. Our club supports the entries Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Sunday, 8:00 AM

Westies will be in the ring anywhere between 1-3 hours each day. Lunch is served Sunday after the judging is over, potluck picnic Saturday evening 6 PM.

Lots of “westie people” will be camped around the Government building, so consider visiting during the afternoon as well. There is much to see, and we will have other wonderful breeds showing too. We have over 2000 dogs entered, and lots of vendors too!

June 2011 Meeting and Picnic

We will be having our annual picnic on Friday, June 10th at 6:30PM. We will hold our picnic in the Brecksville Reservation at the Ottowa Point Shelter. Click here for directions. April 2011 Meeting

It is time for our April Meeting!

It is also time for us to nominate Officers and Board members for the coming year. If you would like to run for a position, please contact us so that we can inform the Nominating Committee. At the next Club meeting, we will be looking for members who are willing to serve on the committee.

Our next meeting will be on April 8 at the Reed Memorial Library, 167 East Main Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. We will meet in the Carlin Room from 6:30 until 8:00PM. The parking lot is located on the North side of the building.

Cure for Cabin Fever

The February meeting of the WHWTCNO will be held at 7PM in Twinsburg at K-9 Piper’s Place on Friday, February, 11, 2011. The address is 9453 Ravenna Road. It’s not hard to find, just south of the square. This is a meeting to which the westies are especially invited. Piper’s Place agility instructor is going to set up some agility equipment and give us an introduction to the sport. Bring plenty of small treats for rewards.
