It is finally Spring and time for our April Meeting. Hopefully the snow is about gone for this year. Our last meeting was held at the K9 Pipers Place. We had a talk by the one of the owners about grooming and clipping nails. She also answered questions from our members and guests about nutrition. After the discussion they offered to clip nails.
It is time for us to nominate Officers and Board members for the coming year. If you would like to run for a position, please contact me so that I can inform the Nominating Committee. At the next Club meeting, we will be looking for members who are willing to serve on the committee.
The board has approved a new Standing Rule. Following is the new rule:
Standing Rule #30. Championship Plaques will be awarded annually during our Specialty weekend and will cover titles earned from July 1 of the previous year to June 30 of the current year. A one (1) year only grace period will be allowed for late submissions. Additional plaques, for coowners, can be purchased at a cost specified by the Board of Directors and must be paid in advance.
Our next meeting will be on April 9 at the Club House of the Reed Memorial Library, 167 East Main Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. We will meet in the Carlin Room from 6:30 until 8:00PM. The parking lot is located on the North side of the building.
