It is time for our annual Specialty, again!! There is always a lot to do, but because of the hard work and cooperation of all who were and are involved and the donations of Club members, we will surely have a great weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it happen.

Remember to mark your calendars so you will not miss any of the events. Thursday, July 30, will be a Supported entry show. Saturday, August 1st, will be a Sweepstakes and Supported entry show. Saturday evening we will have a picnic at 6:00 PM at the Fairgrounds in the Government Building. Sunday, August 2nd, will be our annual Sweepstakes and Specialty Show followed by a catered luncheon.

The August Club meeting will be held Saturday evening after the Club picnic. The picnic starts at 6:00 PM and is for Club members, exhibitors, and friends. We usually have 80 people present at the picnic. Please bring a covered dish or two and come to share with our visitors.

Our June meeting was a picnic held at Ottawa Point Pavilion at Brecksville Metro Park. Thanks to Bob Miller for acquiring the park sight for us. There were about 20 Westies in attendance. Everyone had a good time.

I would also like to remind you that dues for the coming year are due on or before the last day of August. If dues are more than ninety days late, membership will be terminated.

At the last Board meeting there was much discussion about raising dues to help increase the Club Treasury, which is becoming lower than at any time in the last ten or twelve years. I would like to hear from everyone what your opinion is. Also, if you have other suggestions about how to keep our finances able to support our show, please let me know.
